ECONOMICALS CRICKET CLUB

New members of all standards, nationalities and mental dispositions are very welcome.

Currently we run 1 side in the Premier division of the Ram Sports Surrey League. Matches are played on Saturdays and are 45 overs per side.

Home matches are played at the London School of Economics sports ground, which is one of the best cricketing facilities in London. 2 Nets, lawn tennis, bar with veranda.... this is arguably the best place in the UK to bring your bikini-clad girlfriend on a sultry saturday!

We can normally provide transport to matches which are played around the South London / Surrey areas.

We make no charge for membership but we charge a match fee of £10.

How to Get There:

By Road:

• From A3 take the turning for the New Malden Fountain
• Follow sign posts for Kingston (A203)
• Turn left immediately before railway bridge into SOUTH LANE
• Follow road round and take 5th turning on the right to COTSFORD AVENUE
• Continue to the end of the road. At t-junction turn left
• The sportsground is approximately 100m along on the left

By Train:

• Trains from Waterloo BR station to Berrylands run approximately every 30 mins
• Leave Berrylands station and walk up the hill to the mini roundabout, turn left
• Continue to next roundabout and veer left towards playing fields
• Cross foot bridge and follow path to where it meets the road
• Turn right, follow past Kings Sportsground and LSE is next door!

From the station the ground is about a 10 min walk
